It has been a crazy couple of weeks due a very exciting career change and I am in need of a long hot soak in a beyond extraordinary bathroom to unwind and bask in it all. I recently made the leap from working at a non-profit to a beautiful interior design showroom. This bathroom would be the perfect place to reflect and rejuvenate from the chaos of bliss of it all. And more than that, this my be one of most unique and extraordinary inspirations I have seen for a small bathroom...

My favorite store back home is Antiquaire--it is impeccably curated and is the only store in the states that carries the entire line of the beloved tolix chairs. Mellissa Edelman, the owner, apparently not only can fill of store with amazing pieces but can also design amazing spaces, as proved by this room that she designed for a showhouse in my hometown...

Hope you love her work and her store as much as I do.

I adore the combintaion of washed wood and vibrant purple touches in this home--it brings it alive and ties all the rooms together. Mix that with layers of vintage and traditional pieces and the result is nothing short of lovely.

Living in place where cowboy culture reigns it is hard not to be drawn to sophisticated country style. So many people think "country" and I can guarantee that sophisticated, elegant and contemporary are the last attributes that come to mind yet they really can go hand in hand. That balance was my inspiration for this turquoise touched board..

Yes, I know it is a Monday morning but I couldn't wait for cocktail hour to share these beautiful and well styled bars. The use of a trunk placed on frame with legs is a brilliant way to create a masculine and unique home for libations.

In stark contrast I love this classic bar cart framed with two boldly chairs and a cluttered message board.
