Yes, neutrals again, but these spaces are some of the best I have seen recently - they are sophisticated, refined and the styling is impeccable...

/ Tuesday, October 25, 2011 /
Although simple there can be something so luxurious and elegant about neutrals, as proven in all of these stunning and unique pieces..

fashioning interiors {carolina herrera}

/ Sunday, October 23, 2011 /
Carolina Herrera once again created a beautiful line of ready to wear fashion for the spring. The pieces were infused with her signature sophisticated and feminine style with slightly more modern lines than previous collections. I couldn't resist pairing her incredible pieces with equally inspiring interiors...

event inspiration {lovely diversion}

/ Friday, October 21, 2011 /
Well I set out to create a mood board for an autumn affair but as it often happens I see one element and get drawn in a totally different direction. I just could not help but be inspired by the subtle and sophisticated style of this Emanuel Ungaro gown.

loving {french blue stripes}

/ Wednesday, October 19, 2011 /
Most designers have a signature touch and looking through the exquisite portfolio of Isabel Lopez-Quesada her signature seems to be french style blue stripes, which I adore. She uses it flawlessly in hallways, guest rooms and even a bathroom!

What is your signature touch?

falling for autumnal hues

/ Sunday, October 16, 2011 /
Yes, I know that it is late but I am finally ready to embrace fall, or what is left of it! In the past week, I have stopped cringing when I have to pull out corduroy, outerwear or boots from my closet. However, I think I could enjoy the season even more if I had these elegant and autumnal hued pieces...

eye candy {all washed out}

/ Wednesday, October 12, 2011 /
I am a big fan of neutrals, that is no secret, but when neutrals are done really well--that I just adore. Which to me means the casual layering of textures, furnishings with visual interest and just a hint of color--all of which this home embraces. It also happens to have pretty much the most perfect bathroom I have ever seen..

current cravings {sea+surf}

/ Sunday, October 9, 2011 /
The recent snowfall and sweater worthy temperatures here in Jackson are leaving me craving a little sun, sea and surf -- which perhaps is why I was drawn to these shades of ocean blue.

kitchen crush {industrial + neutral}

/ Thursday, October 6, 2011 /
No matter how much I love a punches of color in a room the kitchen is the one place where I crave the serenity of neutrals. The industrial lighting, quartz counter tops, open shelves and pewter collection in this kitchen work perfectly together to create a functional and inviting space. I also love the two botanical prints over the stove that create the illusion of windows.

Jayson Home and Garden

/ Monday, October 3, 2011 /
I have been in Chicago for the past few days and was very excited to visit a store that I have long online "window shopped" -- Jayson Home and Garden. The expectations I had for the store were met and exceeded. Just a little peak inside the store that I am sure will entice you to all visit if you in Chicago...
