craving {anteak tiles}

/ Tuesday, January 22, 2013 /
I just saw this new mesh mosaic product offering from Walker Zanger at a local showroom.  The tiles are made from reclaimed teakwood and come in a variety of traditional and contemporary configurations. One more line to file away for my dream cabin...

A Fresh Start

/ Thursday, January 17, 2013 /
I apologize that it has been a few days since I last posted, but things have been a bit hectic with a cross country move (back to Jackson Hole!) and starting a new job. The dust is finally starting to settle and I am looking forward to the challenges and joys that will come with this fresh start! With the move, also comes a new space to call home.  So of course I am on the hunt for inspiration! This amazing home, designed by jessica helgerson's talented team, is my starting point. I love the simplicity, contrasting color palette, mix of styles and use of natural wood accents.

Seems perfect for a chic mountain abode, no?

Aqua Restaurant + Milk and Honey Home

/ Wednesday, January 9, 2013 /
 While I am on the topic of jaw dropping commercial spaces. How gorgeous is this restaurant, Aqua, designed by delight by design sponsor, Milk and Honey Home?  I am particularly crazy about the color palette and mix of industrial and modern pieces and finishes. The bar particularly causes me to swoon - the crisp subway tile, minimalist glass shelves and natural wood top. I also think that the high backed upholstered banquet +  articulating sconces would be beautiful and dramatic in a residential space. Well done, ladies!

Working It {Codor Design}

/ Monday, January 7, 2013 /
Working in a creative industry, I know first hand that the environment in which one works makes a huge impact on the quality of the end product--whether a floor plan or textile design. An amazing example of this correlation is between the work and office space of Codor Design. Tamara Codor, and her partner Sterling Voss, are the brains behind this amazing furniture and accessory lines. The pieces are the perfect mix of contemporary and classic. Each piece is unlike any I have seen before and all evoke a magical sense of whimsy. The same could be said for their jaw dropping office space..

A Fresh Start!

/ Wednesday, January 2, 2013 /
Happy New Year! Although 2012 was an amazing one for me, I have to say that I am pretty excited to start fresh in a new year--the new hopes, beginnings, adventures and challenges. I will be starting 2013 off with a bang and some changes that will put my life in a bit a tailspin (in a good way). Until the chaos of those changes occurs, I wanted to take a few moments to embrace the fresh startand clean palette that comes with one year ending and a new beginning...
